1. Store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
2. When lighting for the first time allow the wax to melt all the way to the sides of the container.
3. Soy wax requires a thicker wick which does not burn 100% and needs to be trimmed regularly.
4. Trim your wick to about 8mm before you re-light your candle. This will ensure a long-lasting candle, minimise soot and remove any mushrooming of carbon on the end of the wick.
5. Extinguish your candle using a snuffer or by dipping the wick into the melted wax and then straightening. This will stop smoking and hot wax splatter.
6. All candles are hand poured which means every candle is a little different. Natural soy wax can sometimes have darker patches or ‘wet’ spots in your container candle which are out of our control.
7. Once the wax falls below the 1.2 cm discontinue use. This prevents heat damage to the container and the surface surrounding the candle.
